Garden Spring Work Day – Saturday May 23rd, 2-4pm

We are inviting you to this year’s garden opening and work day on Saturday, May 23 from 2-4 pm(rain or shine).  Please join us for an afternoon of fun, satisfying garden work together!

We will work together to get the garden up and running for this season by cleaning up common areas and rebuilding plots.  There is much to do in the garden and it is entirely volunteer-run, so we’d appreciate all or many of you lending on hand.

It’s also a great chance to meet other gardeners and to get your own plot started if you haven’t done so already.

The water has been turned on in the garden.  The toilet is open.  We have new tools in the shed.

Compost will be available to add to your plot (in moderation to ensure that there is enough for everyone) and seedlings donated by Our Little Farm will be looking for homes.

Some refreshments will be provided, and we welcome any food contributions you’d like to provide for the enjoyment of gardeners and volunteers (e.g. fruit, cookies).

Looking forward to seeing you there!

    1. Hi Richard.

The lottery has happened and the main wave of new gardeners have been notified. There may be a few extra plots that open up as spring goes on, and we will fill those from the lottery entries as they come up. But if you haven’t heard back from us yet, it is unfortunately most likely that you missed out this year.

In the meantime if you wanted to get involved, we have lots of opportunities for volunteers to contribute. Just send us an email and we will get you on the volunteer list.

Best of luck for next year’s lottery.
